AFFINITY GROUPS

With so few candidates from diverse backgrounds and so many law firms, increasing our diversity requires a Firmwide response. We're one of the few law firms with a dedicated Diversity Department, including a Director of Diversity Programs, an Executive Partner for Diversity and global and local Diversity Committees.

Our US offices have attorney-driven affinity groups that are open to lawyers and administrative personnel. These groups host social and cultural events and actively participate in our recruiting efforts. In fact, if you visit one of our US offices for a callback, you will be asked if you want to meet with a member of one of our affinity groups. We encourage you to do so.

We send our lawyers back to law schools to mentor, share experiences and meet with students at organizations including BLSAs, LaLSAs and APALSAs. We also participate in LGBT student events.

Additionally, our Pro Bono Practice seeks to offer our lawyers opportunities to work on meaningful matters for diverse communities.
